Salsa Puente Mission:
Salsa Puente Productions mission is to build bridges
between global salsa
dance communities, with a specific focus on
connecting different cultures.
("Puente" means bridge in Spanish.) SalsaPuente is
a non-profit, charitable
collective of volunteers who help promote the
mission of bridging
Japanese-American cultures through salsa and dance.
We do not teach
salsa-our goal is simply to bring people together
around salsa and dance
events. This past year included participating in
organizing two large
Japanese-American charitable events, one that
resulted in a major
contribution to Nourish The Children and another for
the National Brain
Tumor Association. Under the direction of Toshi
Fujiwara and a large group
of volunteers (with special thanks to Kayono Saita
for all her volunteer
work in the last two years), SalsaPuente is looking
for help and support.

For 2007, one of our primary purposes is to bring a
large group of people to
the San Francisco Salsa Congress November 1-4 and in
2008 to the West Coast
Salsa Congress in Los Angeles at the end of May.

- To provide a gathering place to network with people who love salsa dancing
- To provide a forum for people to meet salsa lovers in and from Japan
- Assist people from the United States to experience salsa dancing in Japan

サルサダンスで話題いっぱいの、サンフランシスコベイエリアを中心に、
世界中の日本人サルサラバーズを結ぶ橋渡しをするための
企画、プロジェクトを行うプロダクションを設立いたしました。
最近のプロジェクトといたしましては、世界中の飢餓で苦しむ子供たちを
救うチャリティープロジェクトNourish the Childrenに貢献するための、
ミュージック＆ダンスイベントの開催、また、ベイエリアの脳外科医師たちとの
コラボレーションイベント、The National Brain Tumor Associationの
チャリティーイベントなどにも参加、大成功を収めました。
また最大のイベントでもあるサンフランシスコサルサコングレス(2007年11月1日から4日)
では、日本の方々のサポート、お申し込みの代行を務めております。
